How We Do It• Standards– One of the key components is the adoption of standards in every aspect of a project. Standard hardware designs, standard software modules and built up programs, standard graphical user interfaces, standard project documentation, and standard training programs allows FluidIQs to provide highly reliable, fully functional value-based solutions utilizing proven designs.
• Disciplined Processes–  Project management is broken down into distinct, definable processes and these processes are strictly adhered to. The use of tools such as Solomon Business software and Microsoft Project Server software allow project managers to define and track a project’s process or progress, keying in at a detailed task level for more effective cost control and identification of schedule constraints and erosion of float. Quality plans are developed and implemented to ensure adherence to the standards and processes.
• Facility Infrastructure–  FluidIQs maintains a 24,000 square foot office in Napa, California that houses the corporate company functions (Sales, Accounting, Human Resources) as well as the manufacturing operations for the company. Northern California engineering services and field engineering services are also located at the corporate headquarters. Regional offices in Southern California and the Pacific Northwest are staffed to provide engineering services and field engineering services for region. High speed VPN access to the corporate headquarters computer systems from the regional offices provides Wide Area Network connectivity and real time access to cost accounting and project scheduling information.
• Credentials–  We encourage our employees to continue to add to their toolbox of skills through continued education about the products and software they use. Employees are encouraged to complete coursework and testing to obtain registration and/or certification in their field.
